A native of Newark, Dr. John Carollo has lived in New Jersey his entire life. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University and his Doctor of Dental Medicine from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey., (Now Rutgers Dental School). He has maintained his current practice in Florham Park since 1985. For more than 40 years Dr. Carollo has built an impeccable reputation in the community.
Dr. Carollo is a Member of The American Dental Association, (ADA); The Academy of General Dentistry, (AGD); The American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and the American Sleep, (AADSM); The American Academy of Sleep Medicine, (AASM); The American Sleep and Breathing Academy, (ASBA). Dr. Carollo is a Fellow in The American Academy of Sleep Medicine, (AASM). Dr. Carollo is also a Diplomate in The American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, (D-ABDSM); and The American Sleep Breathing Academy (D-ASBA).
Throughout the dental profession, Dr. Carollo is a respected author, lecturer and peer. Dr. Carollo has presented over 300 lectures on Dental Implants, Cosmetic Dentistry and Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Carollo has spoken at nation and international annual meetings for the ADA, AGD, AASM, AADSM, ASBA, and ProSomnus ProSleep. Recently, Dr. Carollo has had numerous scientific posters presented at national and international sleep medicine meetings, AADSM and AASM. He has helped thousands of dentists learn about the latest clinical techniques both nationally and internationally. In addition, he has written more than 20 articles that have been published in a variety of dental and medical journals.
Dr. Carollo is a 2025 New Jersey Top Dentist, (Since 2005), as selected by his peers. Additionally; Dr. Carollo is the Team Dentist for the New York Jets since 2007 of the National Football League. Away from the practice, Dr. Carollo enjoys spending time golfing and with his family at the New Jersey and Delaware Shore. He is married with two daughters and is an avid photographer.
